Comments: I had a bathroom with a shower leaking into the basement. We decided it would be best to tear out the entire shower unit. Found the walls and floor were saturated and had to be replaced. Jake installed a new shower from the studs out. As the project progress, we discovered that the water damage also went into the main floor of the bathroom so that had to be replaced which was above the original scope of work. He did a beautiful job on the tile. He also showed up when he said he would, worked full days and kept to his schedule. At the end of the project, the plumbers wouldn't reinstall my pedestal sink so Jake reattached it for me. I had to wait about a month or so before Jake was available but it was well worth the wait. Very happy with his work.

Comments: I spoke with 6 or 7 tile contractors before hiring Jake. The first couple of of people I spoke with was part of the learning process for me. After that, I knew what I wanted to accomplish and what the problems were. I asked Jake to give me some suggestions as to how to solve the problem and he came up with a great idea that I subsequently used. His bid was reasonable and fair. His work product is great-just what I was hoping for. Each day after he left, he cleaned up, vacuumed, folded up drop cloths and left the area as neat as it could be. He communicates well, and although the job was finished a little later than planned, that was due to an error on my part. Nevertheless, he worked late one day in order to get finished. I would highly recommend him. In fact I plan on using him on another job in a few month.

I really appreciated the fact that Jake responded to my request even though it was a small job. So he got the extra work of cleaning and sealing that others missed out on . In addition I have recommended him to a dear friend for a complete kitchen floor replacement. When Jake was finished there was another very pleasant surprise, Jake said it didn't take him as long as he thought it might and reduced my final bill!!!
